The detached Gite has been sympathetically restored using traditional materials and local artisans, it has exposed stone walls and beams with tiled floors. Originally a small barn it dates back almost 300 years.

The large living/Dining room is entered from the front garden via double French Doors.

There are two bedrooms. One double and a twin. The twin, which is situated on the first floor having its own WC and wash basin. The Twin Room can if required be changed to a double.

The kitchen is equipped with cooker, dishwasher, microwave and all the other items you would expect to find in quality accommodation.

The main bathroom is located on the ground floor (as is the main bedroom) with a separate WC.

Equipment includes UK Satellite TV, DVD player, Hi Fi etc. There is a garden area with teak patio furniture for the exclusive use of the Gite Guests and a BBQ area at the rear of the property, also for the exclusive use of The Gite Guests. Guests also have use of most of the remaining attractive gardens.

The accommodation would be suitable and most comfortable for a family or two couples.

The Gite is full of character and charm. The thick stone, tiled floors and shutters making it a cool house in the summer and cosy in the winter. The building is not centrally heated but for the cooler evenings portable heaters are supplied.

The fenced pool, which measures aproximately 11m x 6m has an expansive patio area surrounding it for sunbathing and is shared only with the Cottage and the owners. The pool complies with recent changes in French Law regarding safety.

Guests have a choice of using our bed linen (at no extra cost) or bringing their own. A daily or weekly cleaning service can also be arranged for those who want absolute rest!
