I felt that the location, bikes, pool and English speaking hosts would be great after our week of hiking and the others agreed with me, we were right, we made a great selection. We had an absolutely marvellous week here. There were many things to see and to do in the area. The accommodation was first class. What made the week truly memorable was the kindness and hospitality of our hosts. We had car trouble and they arranged for someone to pick it up and repair it, then they personally drove us to the garage to collect it. Thank you very much for a lovely holiday. It was our first time to this part of France but we will be back. La Grange is a beautiful house and the Gite is fabulous. We will definitely recommend La Grange to our friends. Many thanks for all the helpful tips re wine, canoeing, recommending restaurants etc. The pool was the cleanest we have ever seen. Not sure if the hosts arranged the lightening display!!! But thanks a million for setting up the generator so the boys did not miss the World Cup Semi-Final ... Customer service at its best!!! ..... We enjoyed our time at La Grange and it was a great place to chill out after our busy time golfing during our twinning trip to Jouy-en-Josas. This was our first holiday with our 2 year old son and it was much better than we could have hoped for. The Hosts are incredibly hospitable and very knowledgeable about the surrounding area. The cottages are homely with generous facilities. You would be hard pressed to find anything to complain about. Excellent on all counts and Thomas learned to swim in the fabulous pool too boot!! A truly wonderful location.   The Gite excellent, just what we had hoped for.  Our hosts were fantastic, extremely helpful, especially with local knowledge of where to go and places to eat (Although I do recommend their Lasagne and home made ice-cream).  All our expectations were fulfilled and hope to return next year. .
